Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the PDF Editor: Scan & Sign Doc mobile application (the "App") or the website at pdf-editor.website (the "Site"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, or by accessing the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App or Site.
1. License to Use the App
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on your personal iOS device solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any portion thereof
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Remove any proprietary notices or labels on the App
2. Apple App Store Terms
The App is distributed through Apple's App Store. Your use of the App is also governed by Apple's App Store Terms of Service. You acknowledge that:
- These Terms are between you and us, not between you and Apple
- Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the App
- Apple is not responsible for the App or its content
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms
3. Subscriptions and Payments
The App offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions that provide access to premium features:
- Weekly: $10.99 per week
- Monthly: $9.99 per month
- Annual: $55.00 per year
Trial periods may be offered for new subscribers. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Managing subscriptions: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings at any time. No refunds are provided for the unused portion of a subscription period, except as required by applicable law.
Price changes: Prices may vary by location. Any price changes will be communicated to you in advance of taking effect.
4. User Content
All documents, files, and content you create, scan, edit, or manage through the App ("User Content") remain your property. We do not claim ownership of your User Content.
You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all rights necessary to use it in connection with the App. You agree not to use the App to create, store, or share any content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.
5. Intellectual Property
The App, Site, and all content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
"PDF Editor" and associated logos are trademarks. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written consent.
6. Privacy
Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP AND SITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information provided through the App.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP OR SITE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless us and our officers, directors, employees, agents, and successors from any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
